LaDawn Ingram, Executive Director
LaDawn Ingram was born in Tyler, Texas and raised in Hallsville, Texas. She graduated from Hallsville High School after being involved in many activities and social organizations. She attended Kilgore College where she performed and travelled with the Kilgore College Band whom performed for the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. She graduated with an associate’s degree in Social Science while working in customer service at Toys”R”us. Later she graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler BS in Sociology with a minor in History. She earned her Master’s in Health Care Management from Argosy University.
LaDawn has dedicated her life to helping others through acts of kindness and leadership. She inspires, uplifts, educates, advocate, and provide support and guidance throughout their life stages. She worked for Community Healthcore, formally Sabine Valley MHMR for 16 years. She worked for the City of Longview with Partners in Prevention. She involved herself with parents, teachers, youth workers, community leaders, young adults, and youth as the Coordinator for Drug-Free Youth. LaDawn has continued to stay involved by being an alumni of Leadership Longview and a member of Unity and Diversity; a previous board member of Keep Longview Beautiful. She remains active as a board member for Wellness Pointe Youth Action Committee and serves as the Co-Chair for the Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG) and attends the Non-Profit Coalition meetings hosted by United Way.
LaDawn enjoys being a part of this wonderful team of people that are truly invested in the mission of WOW. “This is a unique and exciting atmosphere of learning and growing. This museum is for every child and every adult who isn’t afraid to let the inner child come out to play. This environment comes full circle into the core values that I was taught EACH ONE, TEACH ONE."

Kristin Koonce, Activities Coordinator
Kristin Koonce was born and raised in White Oak, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Communication and dedicates her life to encouraging others on their journey to discover and pursue their deepest passions. Kristin's life was influenced by a place much like Longview World of Wonders. The hands-on entertainment facility she visited as a child was a crucial part of her childhood and it ultimately guided her life in the direction she believes it was meant to go. Kristin believes wholeheartedly in our mission and the work we are doing here, as she has witnessed firsthand what a place like this does for a child's imagination, and ultimately their life. She is eager to watch your child's imagination run wild within these four walls as they discover their passions and a world of endless possibilities.
Shirley Lancaster, Office ManagerShirley Lancaster is an Overland Park, Kansas native with over 25 years of management and paralegal skills. College studies were business and hospitality. She has three daughters, 5 grandchildren, 4 of whom are in college, and 2 dogs. Lancaster previously volunteered serving the homeless, impoverished and disabled in the Kansas City area and CO. A family tradition for over 30 years has been providing Christmas to families in need and children of incarcerated parents. Lancaster previously served as President of the Johnson County Bar Auxiliary and co-chair for a black tie fundraiser for prevention of child abuse.
Lancaster’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, exercising and hiking. She loves any and all music and played piano and violin during her school days. Lancaster loves traveling, NFL football and college basketball, and is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and Kansas Jayhawks!
Lancaster is excited to be part of the growth and success of Longview World of Wonders. She tries to always remember that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel-Maya Angelou.

YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL (YAC)
Comprised of 8th thru 12th graders from local school districts and homeschooled students, this group is an integral part of LongviewWOW. These students are selected for their commitment, reliability, enthusiasm, a desire to serve and leadership. Throughout the year, they will help create programs for use in the Center and provide volunteer hours to help with the daily operations.
