Stacey Thompson, Executive Director

Stacey was born in northern Indiana, but was transplanted into the summer heat in 1980 (hello 113 degrees!). She and her family are new to the Longview area and they love how friendly and helpful everyone around them has been while transitioning into their new home.

Stacey worked for People Attempting to Help (PATH) in Tyler and Junior Achievement of Tyler as their Executive Director. She has an extensive background in nonprofit organizational management as well as volunteer management. In addition to this, Stacey is also a certified Family & Consumer Science teacher for grades 6-12 and has worked as both a middle and high school teacher in recent years. She has served as an elected official in Bullard, TX where she spent six years (three consecutive terms) on the City Council. Two of those years were spent serving as the Mayor Pro Tem.

Stacey has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Social Studies that she earned at UT where she graduated with honors. She earned her national certificate in Family & Consumer Sciences through the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences and is a certified teacher in Texas.

Lynsey encourages everyone to visit LongviewWOW and fuel their natural curiosity.
Beth Swindell, Marketing Coordinator
Born, raised and educated behind the Pine Curtain, Beth worked in several "big cities" long enough to realize that small-town life was really what spoke to her. Beth has 15 years of marketing and social media management experience within the scope of higher education and non-profit entities. A native of Henderson, Texas, she attended LeTourneau University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Beth is a member of the Junior League of Longview, where she is this year’s Partners Card Co-Chair. She and her husband, Andrew, have two children and spend their free time boating, fishing and enjoying Lake Cherokee.
